Welcome to the 2024-25 Summit Youth Hockey season! We are thrilled to have you join us for another exciting year of hockey. Registration for the upcoming season will officially open on August 16th.
Practices and games for 6U/8U will kick off the week of November 4. We are looking forward to a season filled with skill-building, team spirit, and of course, fun on the ice!

AS OF AUGUST 1ST, 2024, USA HOCKEY REQUIRES ALL PLAYERS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 TO WEAR NECK LACERATION PROTECTION. THIS INCLUDES GAMES AND PRACTICES. FOR MORE INFORMATION, CLICK THE LINK BELOW.
Any players born in 2016 who are interested in participating on a 10U Team for the upcoming season are required to attend the two-week tryout. Following the tryout, Summit Youth Hockey will select a maximum of 5 players to play on a 10U Team for the 2024-25 Season.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE DUE FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25
For the upcoming 2024-25 season, families seeking scholarship consideration are required to submit their most recent tax filings. It is essential to blackout any sensitive information in the document before emailing it to board@summityouthhockey.org. Notifications regarding scholarship awards will be sent out during the week of October 28
Reminder - All first year players have free registration and do not need to apply for a scholarship. If you are a first player, please email Chris Miller at Chris@Summityouthhockey.org to get registered
Practice Schedule for 6U/8U Regular Season - Practices Start November 4
All practices will take place at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena in Breckenridge, CO
2018, 2019, and 2020 Birth Years (6U/Mini Mites)
- Monday - 5-5:45 PM
- Wednesday - 4:30-5:15 PM
2016 and 2017 Birth Years (8U/Mites)
- Monday - 5:45-6:45 PM - Indoor Rink
- Wednesday - 5:15-6:15 PM - Outdoor Rink
Games
In-House Jamborees
- Saturday, November 16 (9 -10:30 AM)
- Sunday, December 8 (8:30-10 AM)
- Sunday, January 12 (9:30-11 AM)
All U/6 and U/8 players will participate in our Pond Hockey Tournament on Saturday, February 1st.
We will also give U/8 players the opportunity to play in away jamborees for an additional cost.
Jerseys and Equipment
All players will receive a practice jersey and socks to keep.
ONLY first year players will receive equipment.
First year players will need to purchase skates and a jock.
2024-2025 MItes Regular Season
First year 6U and 8U players registration is free.
Returning 6U and 8U players registration will be $650.00 for the season.
